I know atnt Iphones are a bit staticy when i talk sometimes .
I have a G2 & personally its a really good phone , & you can NOT go wrong w/ it.
It has a physical keyboard, & a on screen keyboard.
Even tho the MyTouch , has more functons & more things to do , you can get the same stuff, from the android market. lol

@UKnoM3LuVU It can run on the T-Mobile frequency bands. I’m assuming T-Mobile will get it since AT&T just got the Atrix and will be getting the Samsung Infuse.
I’m 90% sure that it’s going to T-Mobile.

I have a G2 and I think your review was right on the mark. I liked the My Touch 4G but could not live without the physical keyboard. I think the HTC Sense is great to bad they did not put it on the G2. Believe they went with the stock froyo because it matched the business professional look of the G2. Good Job nice review
i had the my touch for a week hated it. it would keep friezing up and was slow as hell. i switched it to the g2 way better phone.

when i had a mytouch 4g and put it on airplane mode and then the pilot was like “WHOEVER HAS A MOTHER FUCKING MYTOUCH TURN IT OFF!!!!” then the plane crashed i died came back to life and said ……fuck …….my……..touch then i got g2 and lived happily ever after THE END

i can’t decided which phone i should get; the MyTough 3G Slide, the MyTouch 4G, or the G2. i really like the physical keyboard on the G2, but I also really like how the MyTouch is more aesthetic. & then the MyTouch 3G Slide has the keyboard as well (which i love) but it’s an older phone. which should i get?!!

the calling on my mytouch 4g reception is awesome, i can hear my friends well and they can also hear me well.. the mytouch 4g is awesome.. its everything, the only 1 problem i had with the phone was battery usage but its great

I enjoyed your comparison. I thought you were very thorough. However, I have to wonder if the MT4G is a “right now” phone versus the G2 being a phone that will continue to excel given its ability to receive timely updates from GOOGLE. I also couldn’t help but notice that Cyanogen’s latest mod is available for the G2 but not for the MT4G. I am certainly impressed by the out-of-the-box capability of the MT4G but am wondering how angry I’ll be should the MT4G cease to receive updates when EOL’d
