great video.
anyone notice its just cursive writing for a phone….. remember elementary school the teacher would say writing in cursive is faster than regular writing
@onesojourner It’s significantly faster when you get used to it.
I can do it faster on my cheap Nokia C3 and it’s word recognition. And that is what this guy is all excited about: word recognition
Swipe writing doesn’t make sense because you still have to move your finger to the letter anyway. You don’t have to punch…. but well… big deal!
why do you want to punish your finger by dragging all over screen if just touch and pick will do the job…crap crap
I tend to use my nails to type on my current BB. With swype can you use your nails or do you need to use the pad of your finger?
i just found out how to hack wifi with my android phone! iwifihack . net
“You can really blow through it quite quickly.” That’s what she said
I don’t see how this is actually an advantage, other than typing one handed.
@MrPenoyboy you hold on to the message or like the space to insert the message and then scroll to input mode, and then pick swype, well that’s how i do it hope it helped
i had swype and my phone randomly just disabled it how do i change it back?!
can u update your software just like you would an iphone? or similar to it? or do u have to buy a new phone with that software? i know nothing about androids.
@jaybrown910 it’s because he have the system to auto complete.
@IMustBeAbove18 slideIT is cool. I like the way word prediction shows up. Much better than the pop-up swype uses for word prediction.
i have Swype but i’m surprised at how well speech to text is working for me. It’s correct about 90% of the time I use it.
when you drag it over like 10 letters to make a 3 letter word
how does it now WHAT letters you are using.
This is a very informative video. Mobile marketing is truly coming of age. As smartphones and apps become better, the possibilities are endless. I currently us Apple devices and am anticipating the Android adddtion of Honeycomb. Who knows wher this will take us.
I have Swype on my new Ascend, so far I’m loving it.
hes doing it wrong. you dont even have to lift ur finger off the screen for spaces. you can just keep going without spaces.. it put spaces automatically for you
lol =))) 2:10 Moe =)))) 4:40 lol XDD
slideIT seems more advanced. I recommends slideIT instead of this.
This is the best invention on a mobile phone. Don’t know what I would have done without it.
that’s pretty cool
“Whoops, I got the love wrong.” Story of my life.
This…is…SPARTAAAAA
