@villetbone not only that, but Andrew Lloyd Webber specifically wrote the role of Christine FOR Sarah Brightman
I had no idea Antonio Banderas sang. O_o
He’s quite good though. The accent makes it cooler.
@Bugsy99 It’s pretty common, actually. And definitely better than Justin Bieber.
shes good.. antonio is hot
I so Beautiful :O!!! Daddy Yankee!! Do it this!! jajajaj!! this is Real Music!!
@twe1vebones um…Sarah Brightman was the original Christine…
This is so scary!!! but very good singing!

This is so cool! Could Antonio look hotter?! I think not. He’s so gorgeous.
I hope my kids will find my DVD of this Andrew Lloyd Webber concert I left in Cebu.

Antonio Banderas is the sexiest man alive!!!
My drama teacher showed this to the class when i was in high school and i remember thinkin since when does anotonio banderas sing? But he did an awesome job.

their alot better than the two from the original Broadway play and soundtrack
@BIOSHIT Forte vibrato ad libs. It’s no ‘name’ for it per se.
@silviahall oh thank you spaciba I will do that.
2:08 click to skip the overture
@michigrind23 why does all the classical orchestras have to be subsidised by lottery or public funding, could it be that the music can no longer stand on its own two feet?? You must be an awfully shallow or uneducated ignoramous to think that there isn’t better contemporary music out there that doesn’t need to be subsidised. Shit from today roflmfao thats a good one!!!!
@TheCantaker I like classical because I like it. I don’t listen to it because I want to seem smart or unique, but many do. Please don’t judge all as if they are the same….
Still, I agree with you.
@michigrind23 I find your comment prejudiced. I am fifteen and listen only to classic. Please don’t judge by age. It sickens me to see such immaturity in “adults”
I love opera overtures. They are always the best part
OMFG!!! I AM AN STUPID!! AND IM AN ASSHOLE!! I didnt know that William Tell is an opera from Rosini…I thought it was a soundtrack from some movie. I’m very uncutured… thanks for post this video and show me some culture and really music.
@TheCanttaker, i wish i could like your comment more than once, but unfortunetly, that is not possible.
@crazycurtis666
Most people begins with knowing classic composers listening to those “most played”. An ignorant as I am on classical MUST begin somewhere.
@MinsterRogers Have I ever told such thing?
The only cliche is your response and those that support it…..”mmm I know so much about classical music, that I must cast disdain on the ignorant masses, appreciating what I have heard before”
Pathetic is not having the ability to understand that music of any sort, does not approach individuals at the exact same stage of their musical experiences.
Pathetic is, not realising that, the only the only people acting like experts are you (on musical appreciation) and me (on your musical snobbery).
i jusst love it
!!!Marvelous¡¡¡, !just marvelous¡
Love this!!!
on the subject of classical music…does anyone know the piece that was used in the new quaker oats commercial where all they show are sunrises and things like that…it sounds almost like birds @ the beginning….it’s driving me nuts!
@crazycurtis666 Or they can just have appreciation for the “art”. Waaaaaay more work and talent went into this music then anything today. I never listen to classical music but I can atleast appreciate it.

Just a delight to listen to. Wonderful.
@crazycurtis666 it doesn’t matter that they are overused or commercialized, all that really matters is how the music sounds. if it didn’t sound good, i doubt anyone would listen. and anyway don’t trust the people on the internet.
Organ grinder tunes–I’d trade the whole lot for the overture to Norma.
Most of these are my faves too. These may the most beautiful to you but certainly aren’t the most famous. Light cavalry, bartered bride and pirates of penzance are far more famous, to name a few. Why not consider a sequel to this??

Thanks

These are the songs and this is the music that stands the test of time without being altered or, in todays terms, “remixed”.
@STOPTHEEU Why call it over self indulging? It’s beauty that will save the world (quote: Dostoevsky: “The idiot”).
Do it more.
GRACIAS CRACIAS TE REINGRAZIO TANTISSIMO EVERY MORNING I BOOST MY SELF UP AND CHASE AWAY WHATEVER “THREATENING” GOBBLING LURKS AROUND THE MISTS PERCHING IN THE PLUMP TREE BRANCHES out there in my garden (oops forgive the” capitals” )Thanks again
