@lopatamd Because chrome was readily available for windows and mac. Safari was only available on mac and STILL acheived 5% market share of the WHOLE internet. (if chrome was only available for mac, it wouldnt have made an impression at all) (I run windows before you bad mouth me for being a mac geek)

@nicklassayshi it’s a competition, like cereal companies saying that you should buy a certain brand of cereal because “it’s better”.
browsers are slower because flash slows it down. html 5 is awesome and feels lightweight.
