A look at the browser, camera, and user interface on the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 smartphone.
cant wait to get mine it should be here mon yay
@xfaneex You’re dammed if you get this phone! I’ve had it for a year now, and im running to the HTC desire crying
@xfaneex this, the new one sucks
should i get this or the new 9700??? help to choose please. .
@steffynorge you are son of bitch cuz iphone 3gs is the best all arounds games apps music best browser best email fuck you and fuck htc and widows mobile
I have this phone, my husband has iphone. Yes, the browser on this is disappointing but the calendar, messaging, and email are so much easier. Not to mention the phone features which are so overlooked nowadays on a cell phone. Just the ease of one touch calling from the qwerty pad. . . . so worth the browser pain!
If you are having trouble clicking a link from the browser, click on bb menu then scroll to grab link and click trackball. No problem.
mhhhh i would buy it 4 browsing, too, but you should also take a look at the price. the blackberry is much cheaper, and thats why im gonna buy it ^^
i will have to tolerate the “bad scrolling” and the long loading times. . . .
@ricfrasson cant you replace the trackball with a new one every so often
i know the 9700 is the new one i just dont like the look of it compared to the 9000, i guess i havent had it long enough to experience a problem with the trackball but after spending 400 im gonna take real good care of it
The trackball will get dirty and give you headaches! And so many bugs! i have the 9000 for 1 year now and im gonna buy the 9700 for sure. The 9700 is an update from 9000
Im so glad i bought the 9000 today, i dont like the 9700, to small and dont like the trackpad. Small phones are for girls this is a mans phone. . havent stopped playing around with it since i got it this morning
i want it so badly
i want it so badley
@parisbirrdy buy a HTC phone if u want a good browser. . blackberry is exseptionally good on typing and email, easy to use. . tons of aplications, but HTC is a much better device. . then u got the hd2 killer on browsing, and touch pro 2 on querty
damn. . . im considering getting this phone but the browser is important for me !! compared to the iphone which is a browser genius this looks like a bother
RIM means research in motion, its the canadian company that owns the blackberry brand
theres more info on google
wich is better bold or tour? and wut does RIM mean?
@nicolaswatt
personally 8250 is entry model,no 3G, its simply bad.
Bold is better, but nothing special.
Me advice take Nokia E63, E71 or E72 instead. I have E63, just simply perfect.
yes its about the same
Free with Wi-Fi but as soon as you use the carrier network to get online you’ll be charged and heavily so.
Whilst optional, It’s pretty much read that you need a data plan to fully enjoy a Blackberry.
is blackberry curve 8250′s browser slow too?
you dont have to have the plan that is a option
When you buy a blackberry bold, Do you have to get a Data plan to access the web without additional charge or is it free with the wifi?
I love the look of the 9000 but the size of the 9700. 9700 feels less BOLD to me though
