@andrea22borman Why have you did away with windows. your computer was working fine and dandy the whole time. Well,I tried to log into my Google account on Thunderbird and it would not recognise my log in. Even though I gave the correct email address and password for my Google mail account. Andrea.
@andrea22borman it’s so you dont have to go to every email account you have, instead it makes it were you put multiple accounts on there with having to go to every site checking your email.

Just so everyone knows, the new Thunderbird does everything automatically.. All you need is name,email and password… no need to tweak settigns.
is there something like thunderbird but different ?

Windows Live Mail refers to an email client from microsoft part of windows live essentials.

@andrea22borman Your right I think thunderbird is needless work. I”m curious if you use Aol, or Yahoo mail also. Out of all these Email services which ones do you like the best.
I can not see any point to having this Thunderbird software as it seems complicated to use. It is easier just to use your existing G.mail or Hotmail account and just forward your emails to another email address that you have. Also you can on G. mail anyway,add another email address of your own that you want your emails sent to. So you can have emails from your Hotmail or Yahoo account for example sent to your G.mail address. At least that’s what I would do. Andrea.
