@evlryd its a paint process. If you can normally paint it and the paint sticks then YES you can chrome it! 50′s Lambo we did (see HARDLIFESTYLE website) was about an 80K job. But that involved taking a Lamborghini apart.

The helmet was ALREADY CHROME to start with…? Then painted with a thin coat of black substance…..Then Your just removing this thin coat of black …..washing it off to reveal the chrome underneath…????
