Maybe the Chrome team can show the Android team how to build a more stable browser and a more secure environment. It would be cool to see the two ends of Goog have a knock out fight on which is better; a Chromebook or Android Tablet.

Watched the whole video, didn’t see a single fire. This leads me to believe the chat was not actually held beside a fire.

I didn’t like the response for security, the user should have control over permissions and their data, if the developer needs permissions to certain info why cant we supplement junk or test info for the permissions we block?

This is a big user experience issue that makes chrome and the web store seem insecure much like the android market is perceived now.

it only takes one bad app scandal for it to ruin the web store…..

@Culstrand Oh really? so the button i used to click from chrome beta to chrome 6 was just a figment of my imagination? Or are you just being a stickler about the naming of it? What ever “BUTTON” i clicked to “GO” to the url i had written into the omnibar, needs an option to turn it on or off like they do with the home button (or what ever you’d like to call that button).

i would ask them why they got rid of the Go button in chrome. I can’t tell you how many times computer illiterate people who use my cr-48 ended up bookmarking pages they were trying to go to.
