Nothing special here. Some of my clients had some questions about how to download and install Internet Explorer 8, you were always constant reminders from Microsoft. I feel that it is always better to go directly to the site, rather than following links. I posted this video which makes it easier for my clients. Nothing special, just short and sweet. i fuckign hate ie9 dont download it stick with ie8 ie9 has the worst theme
@kiranambi1985 All you go to oldapps(DOT)com and look under browsers go to Intenet Explorer and look Internet Explorer 8 for XP and downlaod file and then install.
Can u tell me the proceducre how i can install IE8 on any non-geniune copy of Windows XP
heyy thx but i did the same thing, it doesn’t work. i dont see the icon and i do not have any internet explorers because i just got a new computer only mozilla firefox

@DOOMER23JK One time I tried installing IE8 without having it activated and it worked.

Does IE8 detect non genuine XP?
You will have to have a valid, validated copy of Windows.

@JuulYT Chrome stole the Safari look, the same back buttons, all clean at the top, and that. Firefox is my main browser all the time, but IE is really cool. Safari, mostly used on my MacBook not my PCs, and Opera I’ve never used. SeaMonkey is like Firefox, same company, just something to have really, not that different from the others. I don’t have Chrome installed NOW, becuase it’s so Safari-like.

Okay, i gotta say its better then IE 7 and 8 but i think they stole a bit of the new design from Chrome, i mean look at the buttons. Almost the same as in chrome.
And btw, you tested Chrome with that flying images thing and got 5fps. I also use Google Chrome (5), did the same test and got 49Fps….
the new beta one of ie 9 is way better than this it got a 95 on the acid3 test

That’s bull shit since the address bar is taking the place of 4 tabs !!! That sucks man !!! I am always needing more space for my precious tabs, I am so fucking furious, seems that microsoft team is not using its brain… oh my god… *sigh*
Any one able to get this to work in Vista? Seems like it only works in win 7. I have been trying all afternoon to get it working in Vista 64.

Lame test for graphics exceleration considering chrome does not even support graphics exceleration yet so um yeah it wont pass that test.
Your videos are misleading. IE9 aces practically all of the tests except a certain category in one of the test.
Leaving old videos on your page is hugely misleading.
Regardless of what others say IE9 will probably shit on Firefox. Firefox has terrible redirect features and surprisingly a British user must rely on someone elses Dictionary plugin to get proper English support.
IE 9 is going to be another flop !!

@infinitypark003 You got that right once the public beta of IE9 is going to be released by Microsoft,then you can very much start testing it out and give public feedback back to Microsoft and any bugs you will encounter in it.
@Iamthecatwithfish do you have any problem with that just because this is just a prealpha and the beta version of internet explorer 9 will be out by beginning to mid of next month for public beta testing.

@undocumentedspot same here dude i used to hate all ie versions too but this one seems really promising it really fast especially at loading rich multimedia sites, but about the strain on your gpu, i tested ie9 on many computers and worked really well on a ion graphics card.
