The permissions a user has to give to use this app are staggering. Included is permission for the app to read and store your browsing history, add and subtract information from you SD card and forward anything it wants to anyone else. And the permissions aren’t limited to what the app needs to run the browser. It appears to apply to anything on your phone.
i have a G1 and i have Dolphin browser and by lookin at the vid it look very fast and sexy and i wonderin if anybody can help me cuz i have G1 with Dolphin and the speed of it the dolphin is just like the stock browser and why is it like that and is there a trick to make it faster???? Trnasposing two adjcaent letetrs is prboably the msot common spelling error. It’s also one of the least notiecable.
I love your browser but in the beginning of video you spelled Android Adnroid lol
The latest update fixed that.
Not to mention the large number of alternative soft keyboards available in the Market, the fact you can create your own and install it, the fact that you can set any of those as your default soft keyboard, and the fact that there are Android phones with physical keyboards (none for iPhone)…

Android is misspelled in the first second of the video.
iPhone “keyboard” is a FAIL…Droid soft keyboard auto-spaces , auto-spells/corrects , and auto-capitalizes.

I have used this browser, and they default browser on Android 2.0, and both seem to be the same speed-wise. However, this browser has multi-touch, which I love.
One question though, when I press my menu button, my icons don’t have any text, just the little pictures (for home, share, refresh, etc). Any idea how to fix this?

@tzutzu4fan Chrome, Safari and Firefox could implement this in their browser in only a week if they wanted to. They choose to let the community create plug-ins for the “customizable” stuff that makes the browser more flashy. Opera is going to eventually fail down the road because they are not open source like the others.

I have all of them on my laptop exept for Opera I’d say there about the same
Once configured, Opera is by far best, turbo mode helps SO much, you can also get rid of the bars that you dont need/want up there. Opera had the first speed dial screen at start up. Opera also now has stacked tabs, I underst, but they aand the stacked tabs weren’t out at the time when you made this surely and extremely helpful feature. In total for me , after using all the browsers, opera is the winner, but chrome is very close by, and is my second best choice. and IE is just insufferable.

Lol, Opera have click-to-install skins, extensions (with a gallery, ‘f course). Funny to see how he is using extensions in chrome to emulate Opera’s default “Speed dial”.
Btw, about address completion: try entering “username:password@domain.com” (a simple method of authorization) and you’ll get your “username:password” sent to Google and be used in suggestions for others, lol.

i had big bugs with ie9 ,googgle chrome is fast,look little crapy,firefox is nice to see,fast and finaly i finish with opera ..opera is incridibly fast for me .. really look nice and have so much nice feature,music player ,clock and much more it think i will stay on opera

Google Chrome is best for 64bit Windows 7. IE9, Firefox, and Opera kept crashing for me.
Um… it says IE takes the least vertical space… uh… open your default IE, look at it… tell me if it takes less vertical space than Chrome or Opera… IE kinda has the Google Toolbar and all that useless stuff in it which keeps bugging you that your free trial expired and stuff.
Lol turn on the transcribe audio it makes the video worth watching
