Question by : How do I find the Safari version on my iPad?
I can not find a way to quickly check the version of Safari I have installed on my iPad. There is no “About Safari” option, I could find. Is that the version of Safari is really the IOS I installed (3.2.1) bound. I saw ads for Safari 5 and wanted to be sure I had the latest version on my iPad.

You can’t change the Safari version on the iPad. As you pointed out it’s part of the iOS. If you are running the current iOS you are running the most current version for the iPad.

I’ve installed Opera Mini and Nokia N73 fifth Every time I surf Google or Facebook, for example, Opera directs me automaticaly on a mobile version of these sites, even when I type www. Who knows how to disable it?

You don’t have what to do(only to change something in phone’s system files to view your browser as internet explorer – found how to do something like that few months ago). Not the phone/browser redirects you, the site. Some sites have switch to classic view/desktop view.

I just received my Mozilla Firefox browser to the latest version (3-point whatever) updated, and I like it. Is there a way to get back to the version that I have before?

I have verizon, and i was going through my get it now. and when i downloaded the messenger part, it was free of charge. i cant imagine that it would cost you anything. i dont even have the mobile stuff. just a regular plan.

anyway, you can also go to yahoo.com, click on mobile, and put the type of phone and carrier, and it will tell you what you can get if you cant browse directly from your phone.
