Windows XP is not supported by Internet Explorer 9

I recently tried to download a trial version of Microsoft Internet Explorer 9. When I went to install the software on a pop-up that I stopped and informed me that a 9 does not work with earlier versions of Windows Vista. Â While pondering this information, I did a little research and discovered that Windows XP will certainly not support the new browser. This activity made me think. Should he be excluded from using this product only because I have a XP machine? The idea of planned obsolescence has come immediately to mind.
“Planned obsolescence” is a term coined by Brooks Stevens industrial engineer in the 1950s. Its definition was “Instilling in the buyer the desire to own something a little newer, a little better, a bit earlier than necessary.” Steven definition also implies that there may be some sort of ethical dilemma related to planned obsolescence.
there is planned obsolescence in the modern world of technology in general and, inevitably, the electronics of today will be replaced by something better tomorrow. Of course the same can be said of software and, in particular, operating systems and browsers. My question though is why Microsoft has decided to exclude users of XP or 9, and probably many millions? Is Microsoft Internet Explorer use 9 as a marketing tool to try to force people to buy Windows 7? I think we can say with some certainty that Microsoft can build support in any system that generates, but refuses to do what we are trying to make Windows XP system obsolete. Â Given the popularity of XP and the will to keep users with Microsoft XP did the right thing with IE 9? Therein lies the ethical dilemma described in the heading of my article. I’ll do you, reader, to decide for yourself.
