Question by gotensan01: How do I get Google Chrome browser to start with the URL highlighted?
When I start Google Chrome browser, it has “about: blank” in the URL, because it imports from a blank page in Internet Explorer. The problem is that the cursor at the beginning before the first ‘a’. I want the entire URL “about: blank” so I can just start and let it overwrite the current URL highlighted.

Clean your all browsing data using Ctrl+Shift+Del. Now do the following
Wrench Icon -> Options -> Basics -> On Startup: -> [Select: Open the home page] -> Home page -> [Select: Use the New Tab page] -> Close
Restart Chrome and enjoy.
