Question by Obsessed!: How do i get safari to come back up at the bottom of the screen, instead of having to use dashboard?
For some reason, I first turn on my MacBook the Safari icon no longer appears at the bottom of the screen with all the other icons.I have to go to the dashboard to access the Internet, and then, Safari opens at the bottom of the screen. I think it’s something I did, but I would really like to know how to fix it because it’s annoying me! thanks!

If I understand you correctly, you’ve lost your safari icon from the dock. This happens when you’ve had your mouse button down on Safari and dragged it out of the dock.
That’s how you add and delete anything you want to have there. You can also move them around within the dock to any position you want.
To get Safari back, Open your applications folder and locate Safari. With your mouse button held down, drag the Safari Application Icon into the dock and in the position you want it to be, then release the mouse, and it’s back in action for you to use…
Any application that is open will also show up in the dock, but only while the application is open. Once you’ve quit the application, it is removed from the dock, unless you have purposely put it there previously in the manner described above.
