I share a computer with someone else, so we share the same bookmarks, add-ons have and more on Mozilla Firefox. Is there a way to be able to both use Mozilla Firefox, but have two separate custom browser-one for each of us? Thanks in advance.

Best way is to have 2 separate logins on the machine (2 diff user accounts). That way you will have your own everything. My documents, email, web favorites, desktop background, everything.

Firefox 2 Why Things Will Never be the Same

Firefox 2 Why Things Will Never be the Same

way back in October, the Mozilla Corporation released Firefox 2.0, the third major release of its award-winning Web browser (1.0 and 1.5, the previous milestones) s. As a long-term users, Firefox? I was back with the product when it was originally called Phoenix? You might expect me to jump around the Firefox 2.0 to have. But the truth is, Mozilla really let me down with it. Unlike its main competitors, Internet Explorer 7 (see my review), Firefox 2 doesn? T include all the really important new features. And its graphical overhaul is ugly, especially in Windows Vista.

But most glaring is Firefox? S pathetic new anti-phishing feature, which is almost ridiculous bad.A doesn lackluster update Firefox? T the end of time. But get it right as well as Windows Vista Development winding, Firefox 2 is a bit bad timing for me was dropped. The problem was I needed to test Vista features, such as IE 7 was regularly since IE 7 is so good, I had little reason to ship a new version of Firefox, which, frankly, rubbed me the wrong way to go . IE 7 had been a dog like previous versions, Firefox 2 or had a bit more exciting, things went differently. As it was, I was surprised to see me in a developing IE users in the last months of 2006.

Ultimately, do old habits die hard. I held installing Firefox 2 for compatibility testing, and if I had primarily switched IE 7, I would occasionally fire the new version of my old favorites and see how things develop. Since October, Mozilla has issued at least a minor update to Firefox 2, making it up to version 2.0.0.1 at the time of this writing. And me? Have found ways to some of my Firefox 2 major problems.

So do I have? Ve been remiss not reviewed in this browser, but I? M go to now for him. FoxFire and FireFox 2 also presents a viable and desirable alternative to IE, though did not the latest upgrade? t add any exciting new features. If you can get over the lack of progress, you are welcome to re-discover, as I do that, Firefox is a neat product that deserves your attention.

How can I copy your Firefox bookmarks between users on the same computer?

I created a new user, open Firefox, and not just the bookmarks by default. There is an import “function”, but only offers to import bookmarks from Internet Explorer. Is it possible to copy / import between users on the same machine?
