IE remembered my password for Facebook. I had to change my password, but IE keeps the memory of the old.

delete cookies, empty your cache, and if absolutely necessary you can reset your original browser settings.

I work for a chain of restaurants with IBM POS systems. We will soon connection to our cash DSL modems. I need to get certain programs to our modem / internet connection (surveillance cameras and credit card processing software) to access, but I do not want my employees to surf the Internet. Does anyone know how to enter a password for the browser so that it does not make the window?

What operating system are you using? If you are running Windows XP, 2000 or 2003, you can apply Group Policy which restricts the use of Internet Explorer. If you can provide more details on your operating system, I’ll be in a better position to advice.

If Firefox offered to remember user ID and password for a website, I clicked by mistake “never for this page.” But now I want Firefox to remember them for the site. How can I offer Firefox to do it again. I’ve tried Tools / Options / security notice / password and then exceptions. But this site is not in the exception list eingetragen.Vielen Thanks for your help.

As Chaplin Information Services (CIS) reports more than 21 November 2006 – Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer browser, making the password saved to clever attackers.
