Question by Gem: What is the most melodic amongst all melodic death metal bands?
My vote goes to Skyfire and Wintersun.Waschti – Wintersun is not Melodic Death Metal? Oh, sorry for the stupidity. You know, the two most abundant things in the universe is hydrogen and Dummheit.Ich have not heard that much melodeaths return from exile, but sounds interesting, although I can say that keyboards is relentless in Vashti Skyfire -! Not you, I, of course, Josh – you just gave me a couple of interesting bands! Gotta check it out! tnx!

the most melodic? well it’s pretty hard for a melodic death metal band to be considered just straight death metal if they aren’t melodic <.<

and Wintersun is not the most melodic....it's just fast. lol they aren't melodic death metal either, at least I don't think so.
I haven't heard all Melodic Death Metal bands...but I'm gonna say this band called Return From Exile...I fell in love when I first heard them because they never stopped the melody from their guitars throughout their whole song. It was just like a guitar solo kinda, but not too fast and it had screaming and growling over it. really good.

anyways, Wintersun is a mix of stuff...but I never thought of them as melodeath because they aren't necessarily deathmetal. But, genres don't matter anyway....you're technically asking for the most melodic metal band.
and Skyfire does have great keyboards I agree.
I never seen Wintersun as real melodic.
