Question by Axy: how to remove chrome from the letters in cars?
I do not want to remove the letters in my car, I just want to paint them black.they or is there a way to remove the chromium from the letters? * I’m trying to murder the whole truck! * Ok, so after the Remove the letters, what kind of glue do you use?

Here is what has worked for me in the past;
Remove the letters.
Clean them with some engine cleaner, or run them through the dishwasher. Make sure they are cleaned and degreased.

Prime them with the etching primer.

Paint them

I’ve had this work really well on chrome or aluminum, and last for years.
