Youtube and everything says I need the latest version of Flash Player, but when I click on the Adobe website, to the cause, download my IE freezes. Why is this and what can I do to download the latest player I thank you uninstall previous versions downloaded from another site and installed Mozilla Firefox just for the heck of it -! But each side still says I need to flash Player download, even on Firefox. Manure.

You should download the latest Mozilla Firefox. It will not only install Flash Player, but will be more secure and much faster.

I have an HP laptop. Having taken the computer out of standby, occasionally Internet Explorer or FireFox freezes during loading a page. The only way to fix this is by using the power button for 5 seconds to force the computer off. I can not the browser, and if I shut down or restart it will start to close programs, but it will not continue.

The standard answer is “microsoft is evil and must be destroyed.”

Actually, I have an HP laptop, too, and if I let it go on standby, when it comes back it won’t respond to the touchpad when I tap it, I actually have to click the button. That annoys me so much I reboot, so I haven’t had your problems with freezing. I’d send email to HP customer service and see what they have to say.
