Question by Jon: How do you keep search engines from freezing your web browser?
Every time I see a search engine like Google, Yahoo, etc freezes, forcing my browser and stop me, the Web browser. Anyway to fix this problem?

It’s more likely the ad server on these search pages. The banner ads that are displayed on these search pages often lag when loading on the page.

First, if you are using Internet Explorer I’d stop using it and switch to Firefox 3. Go to download.com and get it.

Then you can either go to your tool bar and click on View then page style and click “no style” or go to Tools then find the option to disable java. This might speed up your page loading and keep those pesky third party ad feeds from slowing your browser down.
