Question by Trey: How can I connect to Xbox to Live at a hotel where the internet requires you to sign in from a browser?
If you connect to the network from a computer you must open an Internet browser and a user name and password on the page that appears. How do I connect my Xbox to live with such a network?

first you need to know if the hotel lets you get Internet for free, if they do get the password from the hotel. then go to network settings on your xbox , then to configure network then go to either test connection or search for networks in range and you should find the name of the hotels network and you type the password they gave you. and u have xbox live!

install the software(dont forget to dissconnect the cable when you do it)…restart your pc..then install your cable driver…if you are using a original cable your system will install the driver by itself…restart again…then connect you mobile to pc..open the software and go to add connections add the cable that you have juat insatlled press apply and VIOLA!!!!

Why is Safari the only internet browser that will connect for me?

Question by Kristy: Why is Safari the only internet browser that will connect for me?
For some reason, Safari is the only browser that will connect to the Internet and let me browse the Internet. I have Windows Vista and so I did not even pull up the regular Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, but both IE and Firefox on the homepage or any other site. Why is this and how can I fix it?

This has happened to me before. Check the proxy server settings on both IE and Firefox. I had a Chinese server put in for my proxy server due to some virus or trojan. Just Google “change proxy server firefox” or whatever for instructions.

I have problems connecting to the Internet through certain programs. I can surf, surf and download things in order for me to firefox, but when I try IE, I can not connect. Other programs as well as the update itself say that the program does not connect to the Internet. This is strange, because why is the only thing that connect to Firefox in a position to do basic things such as updating the time, IE, latest games try to update clients, and other programs are unable to connect connection . Torrents work perfectly fine, but.

hmm i had this problem. try this:
go on Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Lan Settings >make sure all the boxes are unticked.

I have tried everything from changing proxy settings, pulling and resetting my router and my DSL. Internet Explorer works until I try to log on to my e-mail, or something that involves logging on. I can access web pages and streaming video. Firefox will not work and log on my instant messenger programs used, the same goes for online Spiele.Wer know what is wrong?

so you can surf all pages right, make sure you try new pages that are not saved in your cache.

logging in should not require a special connection or anything, so if you can surf all web pages then other programs and games should work
