Question by Granny3: How can I transfer my Internet Explorer favorites to a new computer?
I need to know how my Internet Explorer Favorites backup, so I can transfer over a new computer. I have soooo many great sites that I really hate to lose them. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance!

The favorites are stored in C:\Documents and Settings then Your username, then Favorites. You can right click on the folder and zip them up to save on a usb flash drive or send to yourself in email. On the new computer just unzip the file and copy them into your Favorites folder.

How can i tell what version of mac OSX and safari my computer is running?

Question by reeca: How can i tell what version of mac OSX and safari my computer is running?
I had problems with a site that I needed and was asked which version I use, as I find out what version of OSX and Safari running my iMac (also, there are different versions of the iMac and how I find out would be what that is)? Thanks. As you can probably tell, I’m not much of a computer person. I’m with my father’s old computer (not that old, probably 4 years)

Best answer:

Answer by A…
click the blue apple logo up on the menu bar. then click “about this mac” that will tell you what version of OSX you have. as for safari, open safari and click the safari menu. from there, click “about safari”. that’ll tell you your safari version.
