Question by : How to save Chrome bookmarks for installation later?
Ok, so I try to install Windows 7 on my computer, and I’m wondering how I can save a list of all my bookmarks that I can get away from my computer? And how to bookmark on Chrome again after I install Windows 7? I have Chrome, and I hope I did not copy and paste each link to save to a Word document.

Easy, there are two ways I would recommend
1. Set up Chrome sync: Press the wrench>”Sign into Google Chrome” You’re done!
Or…
2. Chromes data (cashe, bookmarks, History, ect) will be in application data, The location of this file varies from Windows XP to windows Vista/7, I’ll put both of them here
In windows Vista/7 Chromes application data will be in C:\Users\[Yourusername]\appdata\Google
In windows XP it should be in C:\Documents and Settings\[YourUserName]\Application Data\Google
You might not be able to see the application data folder, if you can’t see them, then type this into the address bar.
NOTE: Type your actual username instead of “[YourUserName]”
After you are in the “google” folder you should see a folder called “Chrome” While google chrome is closed put the “Chrome” folder into a zip file (Right click>send to>compressed (zip) folder)
Now that you have this zip folder find a place to store it online (You could send yourself an e-mail, upload it on dropbox)
After you have installed windows 7 go to application data (C:/Users/[YourUserName]/appdata/local) and make a folder called “Google” if one doesn’t already exist
extract the zip on the folder named google.
