Question by anmamt: How can I change my boost mobile setting so that I don’t receive text messages on the web browser?
So I bought a boost mobile phone. It is beyond the fact that when I mad a text on the phone, I get the answer on the web browser for some reason. Can someone tell me how to change it so that on my phone and the Web browser will not work?

Hey, well i had boost mobile and when i first got it it went staright to the browser but now i get it normal through text..i didnt do anything special but it just worked that way

I think that if you bought it and went straight to browser thats how its going to stay because regualr nextel phones recieve messages in the browser…call customer service or master reset your phone and see what happens then…but probably boost will tell you u cant..is it a boost phone or nextel phone?

Like I said changed the background on the web browser was. There is always a white background with pink writing. How do I change it to show what is the default background image for a website. I have Firefox and Internet Explorer and there on both. Oh, and it kind of older versions of each, if that helps.

If its vista, go to Control panel > Appearance and Personalization > Personalization > and its most likely windows color and appearance or theme. Or one of those options there. You can change it from there. Hope this works.

How do you change default internet browser for iTunes?

Question by emmytiger: How do you change default internet browser for iTunes?
Internet explorer has stopped working on my husband so he uses the desktop instead of Mozilla Firefox. However, it seems Flickr and iTunes by default to IE now we can not one of them go to work (can not upload pix or access Music Store). Who knows how to Mozilla your default browser can be set (this is attempted through Start -> Program Access and Defaults), but it did not last.

in the firefox browser go to tools,options,main.click off check to see if firefox is the default browser on start up.

When I use the Internet Explorer browsers, says that I can not connect to the web site, but I am able, my yahoo browser inexplicably used. That’s why I was wondering if I could change the settings, use a different browser other than IE. I have tried but no luck so far …

Okay, your question is very confusing. 1st I am hearing that your internet explorer will not work, right? Okay if you choose to not use IE,download google chrome or firefox and make one of them your default browser.
Second you mention something about Outlook. Are you trying to access mail from Outlook? Have you set up your accounts? Do you have yahoo email? You have to set your email settings into outlook before you can access mail from it.
Its hard to understand what you need.

How do I change links clicked on in Outlook Express to open IE browser and not Firefox browser window?

For some reason the links I click in Microsoft Outlook Express, open a Firefox browser window. I would prefer the links to the IE browser window open. Where do I change it? This is on a very old computer with Windows 98 SE. Firefox slows it, why should I be running IE.

There’s really no reason to use Internet Explorer. Seriously. There are much better ways to channel any masochistic urges you may have. If Firefox isn’t working out for you, check out a couple of other alternatives, Opera and Safari.
