What is the difference between HTML and WAP mobile browsers?

Question by Jake: What is the difference between HTML and WAP mobile browsers?
I’ve just started a sales associate job at a major electronics retailer and all the phones we have are on display as a table that provided either an HTML or WAP-phone browser in their descriptions. Many customers ask what that means, but I have no idea, my colleagues do not know it, and I can not anywhere on the web. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

WAP is basically only for mobile devices through which the mobile phones can access the internet. By using WAP the contents of the internet are slimmed down but there are many disadvantages using WAP affecting graphics of the content etc.

HTML is for the internet browser for our pc, laptop etc which is also available for mobile devices but the contents have large text sizes which is difficult to read using a mobile phone but still I think is better than WAP regarding the contents.

Skyfire

Question by Ferretfool119: Are there any iPod Touch browsers that support flash video…?
AND can emulate a desktop browser? I have Skyfire, which successfully plays Flash videos, but can not hide the fact as a desktop browser (although they should). I also have what is known as Atomic Web that can take the form of success in many browsers, but not known to play Flash videos.

no, apple does not support flas player unless your device is jailbroken. Btw if you are trying to watch movies through flash there are downloadable apps for that such as vlc
