Callas’ Italian costume designer dies
ROME – ANNA Anni, the costume designer for opera stars like Maria Callas, Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo was, has died, Italian press reports said on Sunday. She was 84th Anni, who also supported the legendary actress Anna Magnani and dancer Rudolf Nureyev, director Franco Zeffirelli, Mauro Bolognini and others worked.
