Why does Mozilla Firefox continue to be developed by dumb and ignorant kids?

Question by Unfaithful…: Why does Mozilla Firefox continue to be developed by dumb and ignorant kids?
It is impossible … Ten years ago we had a nice suit named Mozilla Suit. After we passed the Mozilla Firefox project in the hands of a few idiots who were once good browser into a memory hog itself … There is still a memory hog crashy now, which is unstable to be … Why? Is not there a few good developers that can make it better?

Mozilla firefox, at its stock settings, is actually fairly lean but once you install add-ons it does start getting memory leaks and such.

When worse comes to worse, just go with Chrome.

Hardly ever crashes for me, also the memory usage has been shown to be better than competitors in tests. See link below for actual statistics.

What are you running Windows 95?
Firefox 3 rarely crashed on me and 4 hasn’t yet.

Right now, 4 open tabs open and 3 add-ons are only consuming 149 MB of memory.

Unfortunately this isnt 10 years ago, going on the internet is a much more resource intensive task than it was back in 2001 but considering that modern computers are easily 20+ times as powerful as they were back then… id say your just making a mountain out of a molehill.

My Firefox 4 runs like a Farrari on my W 7 Home Premium X64 with 4 GB of System RAM.

    Are you using Firefox 4?

If so, don’t blame Mozilla! Bump up your RAM, or test it to ensure that it’s not faulty. And limit your Add-ons to 5 – 8, maximum. Finally, limit your open TABS to 3. This is all explained on Mozilla’s website.

If not, upgrade to Firefox 4, and follow the other recommendations, above.
