Question by muffin: What’s the difference between Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer?
I get my computer cleaned out and the person, it is recommended intstalling. Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.What is the advantage?

    advantage: mozilla it safer in terms of security. plus it faster.

    I have both installed. Mostly pages on internet don’t work, or if there is any problem with internet explorer, then anything works in mozilla firefox.
    I recommen you install both.

    Personal preference, some will say Firefox is more secure, but as most of my business customers uses IE, I have to no choice but to use it, I have been IE6 for years, to be fair, its a excellent product,

    Firefox is an ‘open source’ solution to using Microsoft’s monopolistic software. In otherwords Firefox is free! Prior to Internet Explorer 7, Firefox was far superior. Firefox was not a target for malicious software so it was more secure as well.

    Internet Explorer 7 now has tabbed browsing, better security and better plug in handling. So it’s a toss-up as to which is better. However, many people don’t like to have to keep paying Bill Gates, so using Firefox is a way to be free from Microsoft.
