What should I use to clean the chrome tips on my scarf?

I have chrome tips on my scarf and I need to know how to keep the interior and exterior of the tip clean.

I love a product called Autosol solvol. . . This is a chrome and polished aluminum, which works very well. comes in a tube and a white paste and can be purchased at almost any automotive parts store. Wal-Mart sells itself.
