I have used several (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Netscape), and I found that IE 8 was the best of them all. (Chrome would be good too but it has too many problems. For most users, it keeps on crashing and it’s noit very easy to understand how to customize the options. ) IE 8 is very easy to use, understand, “not too fancy not too simple”, and can be easily customized. It has more options, more toolbars, and better layout. Get this, it now comes with a Compatibility View button so that you can view webpages in compatibility view. It is also as secure as any other web browser as long as you have the right safety software installed.

I’ve used IE7, IE8, Firefox 3. 5. 1 & 3. 5. 2, and Chrome, and I’d have to go with Firefox. It’s just as fast as Chrome and faster than IE. Also, it has a HUGE centralized database of addons, which really helps customize, which none of the other browsers have. I use dozens, and could recommend a couple to you if you want. I honestly would go with Firefox. Actually, I did! And I’ve been very satisfied. Never a problem. I actually once wrote an essay on why you should switch to Firefox.
I have IE 8, Opera, Safari, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. Google Chrome is the quickest way to go to websites as it has a very good homepage where it stores your most visted pages but google chrome can unproperly load things alot. Mozilla is the most balanced and has a lot of custimisation options. Safari does not have any special thing about it and can frezze alot becuase it is meant for mac. Internet Explorer is very bad and gets a lot of pop ups.
