Question by Kaye: What’s the difference between mozilla and firefox?
I thought Firefox was made by a company called mozilla. Then I read a comment from someone who said: “Mozilla, Firefox and Opera are very fast”

Firefox IS made by Mozilla.

EDIT:He/She may have meant Netscape by “Mozilla”.

    I think that comment is wrong. Mozilla is an organization that makes several different software packages, including Firefox. There may have been other browsers from Mozilla in the past, but at this point all they offer is Firefox and a suite which includes a browser, called Seamonkey. See http://www.mozilla.org.

    Then you will understand that mozilla isn’t a browser , it is the company launched Firefox.

    Hi,

    Here is the difference between mozilla and firefox –

    Mozilla is a bigger, bundled product. Firefox is a browser only and smaller and sleeker. They’re both based on the same technology. You can use whichever one suits you. Both are being actively developed and/or maintained.
