Is it possible to run Internet Explorer on a Mac?

I have a program that can not be done by Safari, so I am forced to borrow a PC when I’m using. Can I download Internet Explorer for Mac, and there are problems it could cause? Then Internet Explorer, Safari or replace it completely if I have access to both? Please help.
