In Firefox – How to open a new tab automatically when I click a bookmark?

I usually use Firefox right click> “Open in New Tab” to navigate Web pages. This can also be done when you click a bookmark. Is it possible to get Firefox to do it automatically (by default) when the left button a bookmark instead of having to right click?

Just open a new tab, simply. Hold down the CTRL key when you click on T in the browser.
