Question by ~>.Ydnic: If I switch my internet browser from Internet Explorer to Firefox, is my virus going to go away?
The virus I have is the pop-ups only happen when I run the Internet Explorer program together. If I turn off the browser, the virus is going away? If not, then please let me know what I can do.

no the viruus is on your hard drive its not going to go away just because you switch browser. how do you know its a virus or spyware, did you run an antivirus. you need to run your antivirus, and run at least a couple of spyware removers like adaware and superantispyware to get rid of them
no it wont. but it will help prevent future problems. firefox is a lot safer and would be my recommended browser. as for getting rid of your virus there is some free downloads on the internet. try searching it . i have a few favourites and run them all at the same time. this usually manages to pick up the virus. of course, the programs that run best differ depending on what computer your running . :]
