How to show the internet explorer icon on my desktop?

I can’t see it on my desktop. I know that I can make a shortcut.
But my problem is that when I go to the Display Properties>>Desktop tab and click the customize desktop, I can’t see internet explorer on the checkboxes.

My real question is, how to show the internet explorer on the customize desktop icons windows?

  1. Cisco L says:

Right click with your mouse on your desktop tab ( the one that has the Start button ) and select Properties – Start Menu – choose – Classic Start Menu and an Internet Explorer Icon should appear on your desktop.
