Question by Infinite ain’t beyond!: How to get Mozilla to be my web browser?
IE8 is still in control. I’ve tried to make Mozilla the default. But nichts.Ich need step by step instructions to make my new Mozilla Web browser. I downloaded it, it is in the program Listing.Ich use Windows Vista. Still nothing is working all your suggestions. Mozilla refuses to run it!

Go to tools, options, advance, general, system default, check the always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup.

Hi. Just open up Mozilla and it should ask you to make it ‘default’.
If not, go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced and check the last question about browser…

You need to go to Start, Control Panel, Programs, Set default programs, then when the list comes up, click on Firefox. That should set it to do everything rather than IE. You can also click on Tools while Firefox is open and choose Options, Advanced, then System Defaults.
EDIT: My instructions are correct, so you might have to reinstall Firefox. Have you actually installed it in the first place? You might have only downloaded the setup and have to complete the installation, that’s the only thing I can think of. If all else fails, uninstall Firefox and reinstall it from here:

Open the Fox and click: Tools/Options/Advanced/System Defaults. Put a check in “Always check to see if Firefos is the default browser on startup”, and then click the Check Now button.
