How do you upgrade the internet browser on the acer aspire one with linux?

Basically i need to know how to upgrade either the browser or the actual software because soon my browser will be unsupported by websites!

    I would check it out from your package manager either mark it for upgrade or uninstall it and reinstal it

    Changing from one good web browser to another really isn’t “upgrading”. upgrading is between VERSIONS of a browser. Maybe you’re running IEs4linux or some other program which supports older versions of IE, or you’re using something else under WINE, you didn’t make it clear.

    A good computer should have at least two browsers because one can be a safety net for the other.

    I do love the firefox the other guy listed, but you should also consider some other browsers. Some for linux are AMAYA. ephinany, galeon, konqueror, lynx, opera, emacs and others. just google the names so you can read a review.
