How do you delete browsing history from Mozilla Firefox’s browser pages?

Question by dubbs41mw: How do you delete browsing history from Mozilla Firefox’s browser pages?
Just recently switched to Mozilla Internet Explorer. And IE made it much easier to delete Internet cookies and history. How do I do the same to Mozilla. His slow down my CPU, and no its not adult.

    To delete browsing history using Firefox.

    1. Open a new Firefox window.
    2. Click the Tools menu. (Top left of screen).
    3. Choose Clear Private Data.
    4. Make sure the ‘Browsing History’ and ‘Saved Form and Search History’ check boxes are selected.
    5. Click the Clear Private Data Now button.
