How do I stop firefox from opening many new tabs when I start firefox. ?

Every time I open firefox, The “welcome to firefox”, “welcome to foxy tunes!”, “Welcome to coolaris!”, pages come up. I’ve gone into Tools>Options>Main>Startup. But that had no effect whatsoever

help please

    You probably have multiple home pages setup. Make the startup look like this:
    http://i38. tinypic. com/b870uh. png

    Make about:blank your homepage.

    I only get one blank tab when I start firefox.
