How do I run Internet Explorer to lock mode?

I can not access the desktop. Only I have access to the Internet and Firefox is my default. I try to access the Internet Explorer so that I can express my trial period of Vista. Thank you pour votre aide.

    Do you mean safe mode? Because if that’s what you mean, it is possible
