How do I repair Internet Explorer maintenance programs to connect to the Internet?

Lately, I have not been able to obtain updates or downloads of programs such as Windows Media, iTunes, Amazon, etc. downloads all say “can not connect” I tried to start to use Mozilla Foxfire place, but I can not say “well log. I tried my DSL provider to help (Verizon), but because I can still access the network and downloading, while Internet Explorer 7, which says it’s not your problem. Suggestions? I am so frustrated!

    Wow, everyone with programs to upgrade because they do crazy things in the background and slowing you down. . . and I want to connect. . . . Loco mundo.Tome my word for it. . . you connect. . . and spying on you whenever you make a move. . .

    LOL. Usually, your provider blocks after excessive discharge.
