My brother and I are restoring a ’67 Impala and when it comes to paint over rust stains in the car, you accidentally spray paint (black) chrome. I am trying to find the best way to clean without damaging anything. Is it the same for the chrome painted silver or something like that? I have heard of WD40, acetone, also delete Magic. Advice? He has worked for you? Thank you all very much for your time and help!
How do I remove spray paint chromium in the muscle car?

Xylene or lacquer thinner. Hope this helps.
Magic Eraser is a good deal of Colgate toothpaste also receives a lot of things that the gel does not stick well
Depends on the paint you use, you can try to use cellulose thinners, hardware stores sell, Wilko to do if you are near one. Put a small amount onto a clean cloth and gently rub on the paint, try somewhere that does not matter if esp first painted in “chrome” instead of electro. Works on most painted surfaces, but may cause discoloration, etc., and is highly flammable and evaporates very quickly if you leave the lid of the box.
Do you have a custom 68 Impala, I use this trick every time. Get a box brakekleen (brake parts cleaner – red can) It is important to spray the fabric, not the car. A couple of old rags and take anything. Only you can buy at Walmart, about $ 4.
