How do I get my browser working on my BlackBerry Curve?

I just got a BlackBerry. It has e-mail and Internet thing in the plan, but the browser icon does not appear as an icon and select the application selector and I pass on browser, I get a message saying “The device has no public input configuration browser. Please contact your service provider for the browser on the device. “Should I call Alltel?

    Login to your Control Panel BlackBerry Internet Service – Alltel proabably. arrears. com and send service books to your device. Can also be sent to the device through the advanced settings in the Options menu. But through the Web seems to be more reliable.
