How do I get Internet Explorer back as my default web browser?

Question by haileysolange: How do I get Internet Explorer back as my default web browser?
I’ve just downloaded Firefox 3 and how stupid of me, I jumped behind the part where you chose it as your default Web browser. So now it is. How can I get back to IE?

Tools > Options > Programs > Internet explorer should check to see if it is the default application.

click ok.

Close internet explorer and open it. it should ask you if you want to make it default.

    Start Internet Explorer
Click on ‘Tools’ in the menu bar
    Select ‘Internet options’
From the new window select ‘Programs’
Then check the item at the bottom: ‘Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser’

Also, generally when you start a browser and you have more than one browser installed, you should get a message whether you want to make it the default browser. You can check the ‘ok’ button.
