How do I get an error message in Internet Explorer 8 and Adobe Reader 9?

When I close a window in Internet Explorer 8, an error message that says “Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience” However, when I removed Adobe Reader 9, this message does not come and to close an Internet Explorer window / I wonder what’s wrong? How can I solve this problem?
