Question by stockholmsyndrome85: How do I block a Mac application from opening my web browser when I quit?
It’s annoying when you close some applications and they open automatically your web browser on their website. Is there a way to block this? With Snow Leopard.

Assuming you are using the Mac OS, this should not be occurring.

Try using Disk Utility and run verify permissions and then repair permissions. Once both are done run verify disk also.

Should the issue persist after doing the above it is possible the system is infected with malware and you may need to 1) reinstall the Mac OS or 2) install a virus/malware software such as Virus Barrier 6 by Intego
