Question by pica1903: How come my internet explorer won’t work but firefox does?
I have both Firefox and Internet Explorer 9. Firefox works fine but when I called on to use Internet Explorer 9, it can not page. I know it’s not my firewall because I checked and I already changed the LAN settings and that has not helped. Please help.I am of ideas at this point. I’ve tried to delete the entire IE-file, and it will not let me.

had the same thing its a virus that detects IE9 and blocks it. If you have windows 7 you cant uninstall just dont use is I called and everything the only option was to reset

You most likely have a virus in your internet explorer. It has been going around quite a lot. If you do not get it removed it will eventually kill your hard drive. It locks its self into you email address and even if you were to get a new computer as soon as you logged in with your email address the virus will find you and start all over again.
Check your proxy server settings. You might be using one. It’s under Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings. Try to disable proxy settings.
If that didn’t do it, go to Internet Options > Advanced. Click on ‘Reset’. Restart IE.
Try checking your IE Connection setting and match with Firefox’s. They both use different settings though usually the default may work for both sometimes it might require some changes.
In the end, if you can’t get IE9 to work then its no big loss. Forget about it. Its not worth wasting your time and brain power on, it simply sucks!
