How can I prevent multiple instances of chromium in the startup and slowing your computer?

From time to time my computer slows down significantly, and when I go to task manager, I know it’s because there are about 7 or 8 cases of Google Chrome is open in the “process” even if I did ‘have only one open window in Google Chrome this time, as shown in the “Applications” tab. All these cases are found tons of chromium occupation of memory and slow down my computer. How can I avoid this?

Chrome actually runs every part of it as a separate thread in process manager. This makes it more secure, and more able to recover from crashes.

In Chrome, press “Shift + Esc” to see it’s own task manager. You’ll see that each plug-in, extension or tab uses it’s own process, and you can close them individually from here.
