How can I keep my browsing history to disappear?

My address bar does not store any browsing history. Settings on the Tools menu is not checked to delete the history.

    Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + H to ensure that history is not inadvertently deleted. It appears, then click Tools, click Internet Options, Content tab, click (top), then click the AutoComplete settings. Make sure the Internet address box is checked in the use of AutoComplete. Bring a towel.
