Question by tabooist: How can I keep multiple instances of chrome from starting up and slowing down my computer?
Once in a while my computer slows down significantly, and when I go to Task Manager, I find out, because there are about 7 or 8 instances of Google Chrome open the “processes” despite the fact that I opened a Google Chrome window is at the moment, as seen under the Applications tab. All these cases of chromium at the end loads of storage space and slow down to under my computer. How can I prevent this?

Uninstall chrome and use firefox 3.5
